Sauce of the Day: Parmesan and Cream Pasta Sauce

Super simple pasta sauces have been the way to go this week. Between work, this cold I have, and my husband’s basketball league, the faster and easier dinner is to prepare, the better. Nothing beats a quick cheese sauce tossed over some penne!

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
4 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp heavy (or whipping) cream

Melt butter over medium heat and add whipping cream, stir until incorporated and remove from heat. Pour over drained pasta in serving bowl and Toss to coat. Add cheese, toss once more, and serve. Add a few grinds of black pepper, if desired.
