Chunky tomatoes are on the menu in this sauce! Preparation is very simple but the sauce requires 30 minutes to simmer so plan accordingly. It also makes a great sauce for homemade pizza.
28 oz can whole tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tsp dried marjoram
3 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Heat oil and cook garlic until garlic begins to turn brown.
Add tomatoes and marjoram and bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
Pour over pasta, toss and serve.
(Optional) Serve topped with grated parmesan cheese.
